Michelle Thomas, RVN, A1 Assessor, Head Nurse.

Michelle started her animal nursing career by gaining a Distinction in her National Diploma in Animal Care at Usk College, between 1997-1999. She joined us in March 2000, and enrolled at Hartpury College shortly afterwards, from where she qualified as a Veterinary Nurse (VN) in 2004.
She left Fairwater in 2005 to gain wider experience, and worked at practices in Newport and Cardiff, as well as working as a night nurse at the Rowe Vet group Animal Hospital in Bristol.
In 2006, Michelle returned to us and completed the A1 award to become the Practice's assessor for Veterinary Nurse Training.
In 2008, Michelle and her husband became proud parents to their son Jack. She now works at the practice as Head Nurse.
